I ran this thru examinations and was told copper plating splitting by John. It also has the same markers as RPM003 D/D west with even the LDS markers on the rev in Variety-Vista on AMERICA and around the MEMORIAL. I did research so I'm hoping I got this right using some of my new coins I got as guides from Gary.

In my opinion, this one is a tough call.
It has split plating as evidenced by the blue-grey east of the mintmark.

In variety vista photos, I think the to the top of the vertical bar and slight split serifs is where the possible variety exists.

I THINK I see what the varietyvista photo is trying to show. If you if you draw an imaginary line from the hole of the D from the bottom left area, to the top left serif, you may see something there. It appears partially tilted, and hints at some separation at the top vertical bar and top serif.

Your photo gets grainy when trying to examine the coin up close. I will leave it up to you and other opinions to try and make a better assessment of this coin.

I will wait to see if Eric comes in to give his assessment.
I personally am not a big fan of zinc cents, but I do dabble in them, but do not have many.

I moved this post to the proper forum: RPM & Double Dies ONLY belong in the die variety forum.

I cropped his photo also. The white arrows I added are where RPM003 belongs - as you can see there is nothing there. Not an RPM
The purple arrow, is in a response, to your comment from John; and what he is seeing on the coin presented.
      I hope this helps.
      Eric
