CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 1982D Lincoln RPM???

Is this a RPM or PMD? It's close to the one on varietyvista.com but without the scratches under Liberty. It has what looks like another punch mark inside and then top one is CW adding to the sherif but that mushy top from possible PMD makes it difficult to determine.
Is the E CE in ONE CENT doubled or mechanical?
Misaligned die or finning on obverse?
It is a 3.11g if that matters.

[I've been working on my pics I hope it shows]

In my opinion, the E and C look like its a form of worthless doubling.

The 1982D year does not have any listings on Variety Vista. Conecaonline.info does not list any 1982D RPM's.
Its copper and a large date. It has that "fancy 2" and the holes of the 8 in the date are nearly the same size.
