MD/MT on the left cornice and #1 column as well huh? Any reading advice on the tripling or is that pretty much the same as doubling just one more strike? Because I find it interesting on how it only did that at the one location at the cornice and barely a doubling on any other device's or inscriptions elsewhere on the coin. Wow I see how you can do this for decades and decades and never see it all. I appreciate the help!!!!

die bounce is a term that is thrown around and is apropos. a bounce can produce more than one umm reverberation and when a die "bounces", all it is doing is smashing a little bit of metal with almost no resistance, so it is very easy to produce one "edge" and even more than one. also ejection doubling and some others, so getting some wild and wonky results is not uncommon.
idk about reading, can't be too hard to find. there is a plethora of various links around this site to maybe find some info.
figuring out the inconsistency of MD and DDO etc, is an art form unto itself. i learned to just accept them for what they are, even having understanding of the minting and striking processes. if i start to fully try to understand it , i may as well go look for nessie and bigfoot.coinfacts.com - conecaonline.info - board.conecaonline.org/forum/numismatic-site-links - briansvarietycoins.com - coppercoins.com - cuds-on-coins.com - doubleddie.com - error-ref.com - franklinlover.yolasite.com - ikegroup.info -lincolncentresource.com - maddieclashes.com - money.org - ngccoin.com/price-guide/world - ngccoin.com/census - ngccoin.com/resources/counterfeit-detection - nnp.wustl.edu - pcgs.com/pop - pcgs.com/coinfacts - pcgs.com/photograde - varietyvista.com - vamworld.com
