It does appear to be 1987-D RPM003, from the small close up. I would suggest taking a photo of just the date / mintmark for the close up so we can tell postion completely. I tried to blow up your whole coin photo and as you can see the resolution is not good, but the blurry quality still appears to have the correct position of RPM003. I think you have a keeper!
