CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I noticed a notch on top left corner on D. Is this a different mint mark than others? I couldn't find a similar one. Nothing else could suggest machine doubling.

It looks like the far east side may have some split plating issues.

      I can see it's a possible match.

Moving the post to the correct section - Die Variety Forum -
It does appear to be 1987-D RPM003, from the small close up. I would suggest taking a photo of just the date / mintmark for the close up so we can tell postion completely. I tried to blow up your whole coin photo and as you can see the resolution is not good, but the blurry quality still appears to have the correct position of RPM003. I think you have a keeper!

Thanks for the input. It is RPM-003. I went and checked out the die markers. It definitely has a die dot right side of Y in LIBERTY and a die dot right of the 2nd T in STATES.
