CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hello. I’m new here. I would love to get anyone’s opinion on these pics please.
    Its an almost perfect red 1969s Lincoln penny. Is this DDO or just Repunched

    This is all very common machine doubling. You will see quite a lot of this on 1969 cents.

        Hello,
        Any time the secondary image is flat or shelf like it's machine doubling as Bob stated. Keep looking, they are out there..

          These are not valuable unless someone likes it enough to pay a premium. As stated...they are VERY common for the date.
