1959 ROOSEVELT DDO-001?
The search continues I ran across a 1959 Roosevelt Brilliant Proof with just a dusting of gold and graded by PCGS as PR67. I see some extra thickness on the date, IGWT and especially the designer's initials. Does anyone else see what I see? No die markers are noted.Tags: None

You have to also remember that proof coins were purposely struck more than one time (at least twice). They did this to ensure a really strong strike. On many occasions, this led to the appearance of slight extra thickness. It is not a hub doubling variety, but rather a striking issue.Bob Piazza
