CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 1993 D Lincoln cent DDR

I found this coin in Oct. of 2020 and posted on a couple of other forums since modern Denver seems to have very few varieties. The reverse has nice thickness and light notching or separation to STATES OF AMERICA, EPU, the designers initials, and the right base of the building.

This seems to be at least an EMDS coin. The reverse has some split plating around the columns but this effect helped me ID a nice die chip/dot marker on the right side, upper third, of column 10.

Thanks for looking and let me know your thoughts or questions or whether this might qualify for a new listing.
I'm new to the site so it may take me a while to find my way around to this thread again to answer questions.

    Bump!
I'm looking to see if this coin is worthy of a new variety number or if because of the date it is TMTL. I'm not sure of the new process or if this one qualifies but with the thickness and notching on about half the coin I was hoping it might be if the system is up and running.

    Thanks in advance.

I just can't tell with the photos. This one needs an in hand look to see if it should be listed. Please wait for the announcement of when cents can be submitted. At that time, get with whoever the attributer is and ask them for an attribution.

Will do and thank you Bob.

Glad to see you back in the "thick" of things.
