    2022 P 25c Maya Angelou DDR

My first 2022 coin happened to be a 2022 P 25c Maya Angelou quarter that I found in my change on Valentines day. (Awwwe, how romantic said my wife ..... not.)

Anyway, like a lot of folks do with their pocket change, I looked it over and happened to notice a raised semi-circle on her neck. I believe it to be an extra hoop earring. It's towards the center of the die which is where a lot of modern minor DDO's and DDR's seem to be located.

There are some nice obverse markers. A large pre-chip on the bridge of Washingtons' nose and foaming bubbles at the corner of his mouth.

Take a look and let me know your thoughts.

Geez Cliff. He better put some ointment on that lip.
It could be a doubled die. If it is, I could see this being the new 09 Lincoln craze. If theres one with that kind of separation, theres more. I would hold onto it and see if more start popping up.

I see a mark there, but to me, it certainly doesn't look like another 'hoop earing'

        LOL
Thanks Jason. Yeah, it sure is nice to see a clear easy marker (if it does end up being a DDR). The "spalling" piece of die on the bridge of the nose will be huge when it goes.

Thanks for taking a look Bob. I wasn't able to capture it, but the curve ("mark") under the ear almost continues back to the ear.
