1964 D Lincoln Memorial cent RPM-017?
Found this 1964 D Lincoln Memorial cent which I think is RPM-017 stage A. The thing that is throwing me off is the big die chip on the 12th column. That die chip makes me think it should be another RPM or one not listed. So I would appreciate any input. Thanks in advance. More pictures if needed.Tags: None

We know, based on other examples, that the reverse die was changed. We have it listed as changed at stage C, but it is possible it was changed multiple times.
I am not convinced that RPM is the correct attribution either. The separation line on the lower portion of the MM concerns me a bit. Have you tried 1MM-025 on coppercoins? For some reason, this one sticks in my head, and I noted the similarity between 017 and 025 when I was attributing for coppercoins.com

Thanks Bob I looked at the 25 and 17 and was more leaning to the 17 because of the mint mark location being closer to the 9, now with that being said later when I am done working on blue prints I will look at it again and see if I can figure out how to do overlays. Again thank you Bob.

1964-D-RPM#17_Markers.jpg
I have a copy of stage "C" in my set. If you look at Dr. Wile's photo of the date and mintmark in this stage you will see fine scratches NE/SW. I see these same scratches - just weaker than my coin in his 5th photo. I think his coin is correct just before a LDS/VLDS REV die change. Both the coins I have do NOT show the die break on column #12.
Hope this helps..
Yes I tilted the coin to show the die scratch pattern for the marker
