1947 S Washington Quarter RPM-003?
I am looking at a very nice 1947 S Washington Quarter. It looks to me like the pictures on VV for RPM-003. The following 'Stage B' Obverse Die Markers are present on the subject coin - Die crack across upper hair and forehead – MDS, Light die crack on bust above 19 of date. Thoughts or Comments?Tags: None

Hello CONECA, I sent this coin into ANACS. The coin was originally in a NGC MS66 holder. ANACS rejected the coin for grading because they felt it was not a MS66. I went to the IMEX Nashville coin show and saw Paul DeFelice at the ANACS booth and pled my case. Paul resubmitted the coin and it was now memorialize in an ANACS holder. Only RPM-003 ever graded...1 of 1.

Congrats Bruce. I would say - and just my advise when you take photo's close up of a weakly struck variety - may want to tilt the coin - I don't personally like tilting the mintmark photo - I usually turn the lighting until I find the right angle that picks up the mintmark. Reason - the close ups you provided - I cannot see anything that looks like an RPM.. The far away shot I can somewhat see the variety. It's a hard coin to photograph!
