Hmmm... It seems like the separation on the R (BERTY) should be visible on your coin if it was the variety.

(I see a similar die scratch going from the right side of the DI to the NE as shown @VV.)

Thanks for trying to help me out with this one Pete’s. Well here is a closeup of that area of the reverse as best I can make out, I do see some similarities. It’s just not something that makes me confident. As far as the R is concerned, it’s pretty well beat up but I see what looks like good similarities to the NGC variety website, there example is similar to the wear that I’m seeing on mine. The VV example is a very nice coin that doesn’t show any wear at all. I might just send it in to one of the third party grading companies and take my chances with submitting it as a variety verification. That’s all I know to do at this point. I do however see a split on the lower top end of the E in liberty. That’s what sent me on this path.

This is quite worn. Probably too far to determine for sure.

It might have been something, but wear plays a big factor in this.
If you arent able to see the issue under 10x power or less, the attributer either will not call it or, if they do, it would be considered minor.
