1922 Peace Dollar
For me, this is one of the finest examples I've ever seen of the 1922. Just thought I would pull it out of my collection to share it here. In my research, I found this example does exist but is rarely seen. Hope you like it. NGC, I found out will grade it for what it is, a 1922 DMPL. That's why I never had it graded for years. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Jcuve, it's probably the LED lighting. This was never polished, nor is it plated. It has an extremely strong cartwheel. I have several MS peace dollars but this one blows them all away. After all the years I've had it, I'm finally sending it for grading.Last edited by Coindog; 07-21-2021, 10:23 PM.

My suggestion is to find a coin dealer who submits on a client's behalf and double check the surface first. Lightly plated coins are far more common than can be believed and they will fool people. I found a few in my grandfather's collection and he was unaware.
Anyway, hopefully it's the lights. Good luck.Jason Cuvelier
