1942 S Mercury Dime possible Obv Strikethrough Error help

In my opinion, it could be a mild lamination issue which was on the planchet prior to making this a coin.
I have seen many that look like this, with less wear on Lincoln cents. I am talking about the area around Liberty's neck. It looks like it starts really close to her hair curls, a place that is a good indicator it's pre-struck or during the strike. If it were PMD, this area would show differently.

Thanks Gary for taking a look. It does look similar to many of my lamination cents. Maybe with all of the wear of this coin, the signs off peeling have long since been wore down.
