It is not counterproductive. You need to read the entire directions for attributions. You do not arbitrarily send coins to anyone without being told who to send them to. We have changed the way attributions are done to include posting photos of them here first for opinions. Once an attributer responds to your post and agrees to look at it, then you will be given all that information including prices and addresses. We are just now beginning to open up attributions on certain denominations. Please be patient, but in the meantime, you can post your coins in the appropriate sub forum for us to have a look at.

Bob, Thank you for that information. I know y'all have been inundated with bogus information that makes it very hard to conduct business. I will have some pictures taken of this Mercury dime and submit those. I was referred to this organization by Mr. Christian Merlo who is the Texas Regional Rep for ANACS here in the Austin area. He examined this coin and believes it is an error coin with a double D. He stated that since this coin could be a first error coin of this type, then hit should be handled by CONECA and ErrorScope for verification and Attribution. I appreciate your guidance in this matter and thank you. Ji, Lyle

Agreed that a different photo is necessary. Cell phone cameras have come a long way, but any time macro type photos are taken...you really need to know what you are doing. If you are thinking this is a D/D, then that would be and RPM which makes it a variety, and not an error. I hope yo can find someone or another way to get a focused closeup of this coin. I love these coins.Bob Piazza
